Abstract:

This paper provides an integrative review of personal development and psychotherapeutic interventions aimed at reducing burnout and enhancing psychological well-being in the judicial profession. Drawing on evidence from clinical psychology and occupational health, the study analyses the effectiveness of interventions such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, yoga, ecotherapy, and self-regulation techniques. Particular emphasis is placed on the psychological mechanisms underlying these interventions, including emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, resilience enhancement, and reduction of self-critical processing.

The paper further proposes a mechanism-based framework linking interventions to psychological outcomes, highlighting their applicability within high-stress professional contexts. Findings suggest that while empirical evidence specific to judges remains limited, transferable results from related professions support the integration of structured psychological interventions into judicial systems. The study contributes to the literature by bridging occupational burnout research with psychotherapeutic models and offers practical directions for institutional implementation and future research.
