Calls for Associate Editor(s) Nominations


Journal of Global Sustainability and Development (JGSD) is seeking applications for the role of Associate Editor(s). We are looking for distinguished scholars and professionals committed to advancing the journal’s mission of promoting innovative research, policies, and practices that integrate economic, ecological, and social dimensions of sustainability to foster a more inclusive, equitable, and resilient future.

Candidates should be available to start in January, 2025 to prepare electronic versions of articles published as they are accepted. Training will be provided by the current Editor-in-Chief. Individuals interested in applying should send a statement of interest (no more than 2-3 pages) that addresses their intentions, goals, and relevant experience, as well as their proposed approach for a special issue, including potential topics. References may be requested later.

Journal of Research, Innovation and Technologies (JoRIT) is seeking applications for new associate editors to serve alongside the curent Editor-in-Chief. Serving as an associate editor offers a unique opportunity to help shape integrated and innovative science-based approaches, stay current with broader research developments, and further develop scientific and communication skills.

We plan to appoint several new associate editors whose terms will begin in January, 2025. Positions available include full-time (~40 new submissions/year), half-time (~15-20 new submissions/year), and quarter-time (~5-10 new submissions/year) roles. Associate editors will actively participate in journal activities, and will have the opportunity to develop a special issue on a topic related to their research interests. All associate editor positions come with an annual honorarium.

We are looking for candidates with expertise in the fields of innovation, research, and technologies. Self-nominations are encouraged. The incoming Editor-in-Chief is available to answer any questions about the associate editors' expected duties, the journal’s vision, and the application process. The nomination packet must include a current CV and a cover letter (no more 2 pages) that addresses the nominee’s:
- Prior experience with peer review and editorial work;

- Proposed approach for a special issue, including potential topics.

Journal of Contemporary Approaches in Psychology and Psychotherapy (JCAPP) is inviting applications for new associate editors to serve alongside the curent Editor-in-Chief. Positions available include full-time (~40 new submissions/year), half-time (~15-20 new submissions/year), and quarter-time (~5-10 new submissions/year) roles. Associate editors will actively participate in journal activities, and will have the opportunity to develop a special issue on a topic related to their research interests. 


Candidates should have a robust record of publishing and reviewing/editing. Candidates also will be familiar with the literature in the field - broadly defined to include both classic and contemporary psychology and psychotherapy,  cutting-edge research, theoretical perspectives, and clinical insights that contribute to the advancement of psychological theory, practice, and intervention. Candidates should have expertise in at least one of these areas and the ability to be conversant in the others.


The editorship of JCAPP requires a substantial time commitment and includes an honorarium.
