Abstract:
Knowledge management is increasingly oriented towards digital content management thanks to the newest development in the technology of data generation, data management and visualisation, particularly in business analytics. The development of artificial intelligence, especially of so-called machine learning, deep learning and neural networks, has significantly enhanced algorithmic capabilities to replicate human functions, reshaping key aspects of knowledge management. This chapter explores the impact of these technological trends on knowledge management, outlining areas where artificial intelligence is currently applied. Specific examples of artificial intelligence applications within each domain of knowledge management are also discussed.
